Think you might have COVID? Here's what to do.

IMPORTANT: Do not visit the ER for COVID testing unless you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: trouble breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, new confusion, inability to wake or stay awake, pale, gray, or blue-colored skin, lips, or nail beds, depending on skin tone. Call 911 or seek immediate medical attention if you are experiencing ANY of the symptoms listed above.

If you or someone you know thinks they have COVID, take the following steps:

1) Check your symptoms vs. those of COVID here.

2) If your symptoms line up with COVID, call your family doctor to schedule a test or get tested for free by the Las Animas-Huerfano Counties Health Department on Tuesdays (La Veta & Walsenburg) and Thursdays (Walsenburg). They also carry out testing in Trinidad and Pueblo. To learn more and to register, click here.

3) Until you get tested and receive your results, it’s IMPORTANT to follow the steps here.
